I've been playing the game for about a month now and at the start I found it pretty easy to grow hybrids, but for past 2 weeks I've been lucky to get even one pink rose every few days.

I have the beautiful town ordinance on and I water my breeding flowers daily so I'm starting to think I'm just unlucky. :( My ultimate goal is blue roses but that just seems unlikely to happen at this stage.

Anyone else have problems with hybridizing or any tips for me? Thanks :)

Try watering your flowers early in the day/your play session. With beautiful town all of your villagers will work against you because they water the flowers, but I believe that the flowers will react to watering them in order so if you water your hybrids before villager water normal flowers, your chances will be higher. This is just what I have found, it doesn't hurt trying so maybe give that a go?

That makes sense, I'll definitely try it out! Thanks :)

I've been having similar issues. Have you moved all your hybrids to the beach? That way they can breed together easier (hopefully), and you won't have any new plots built over them.

It might also help to water only the specific type of flower you want that day, and not all of the flowers you're trying to breed. I've noticed if I water all of the hybrids on the beach, I might only get one or two new hybrids, but if I have them separated into 3-4 clusters for each type, and then water only one breed, all four are more likely to have a new flower the next day. I'm not sure why, but that's how I've grown mine so quickly

I've been doing all of those and it hasn't helped. :( Although I have noticed the ones on the beach breed more often than any other ones, but that may be because I water those more than any others.

I do only water certain clusters at once but ill try your exact method Quill and see how that goes!

Thanks everyone :)
