Can't Give Villager Items Anymore

Hello, all. Recently today after I have given Audie another item, the square frame glasses in particular, I then went to talk to Audie again and the option to give her items is gone. Is there some kind of maximum amount of items you can give to villagers, is the friendship maximized, or is it some other reason that the option disappeared despite that the day prior I was able to keep giving Audie gifts one after another?

Unfortunately I can't answer your question, but I have one for you. What do they do with the items you give them? Will they wear the clothes and place the furniture in their houses?

I believe its once per day c: since i had that option and once i gave them something it was gone. I TT a lot so im not sure if you can multiple times a day, but i do know the next day i could give them something again.

The option disappeared for me after i gave my villagers one gift, so i just assumed it is limited to 1 gift per day. Hopefully someone else can inform us more about this.

Katt went home and sure enough the furniture I gave her is in her home! So yes they wear the clothes you give them and they place the furniture too

Ive never even had the option to give them stuff! I have to send stuff through the mail
