I picked up a used copy of ACNL off craigslist today for my second town, thinking it would be erased, but it had a town so I decided to check it out. The save file still seemed pretty new, the town didn't have much development. But to my surprise, the town had TWO of my dreamies (one of them being Lucky!), a bunch of sloppy furniture, a gold watering can, all of the trees in the town were perfect peach trees (A&B compartments were full of 9x perfect peach baskets), and it had 2 million bells in the bank.
It was a pretty awesome find! Just wanted to share my happiness!
(If any of you guys want some perfect peaches, I've got plenty!)
haha wow that seems awesome for sure. i always have thought about buying a second used copy in the hopes of finding an interesting town still saved. good luck on your new town.
Very nice to have quite a surprise! Are you gonna keep the town like that or are you gonna trade some of your stuff to your other town and maybe get your dreamies to that town?
Congrats! I remember my second copy, also used, had surprises too. No dreamies, but lots of stuff. Thats why when i sold my second copy, i also did not delete anything. . Maybe someone is getting a nice surprise out there.
My copy was used when I bought it. The town was named Oblivion and was full of weeds and dead perfect trees. I don't even remember the villagers, but I'm pretty sure Roscoe was one. Didn't check for anything else and deleted it.
