So I made a separate town for my sis on my other SD Card. I come back to my other sd card and find this. I re-searched this and basically I'm screwed. Everything I worked for, gone. My bells, gone. My dreamies, gone. My golden zen castle gone. Cube gone :C. Quillson gone. Stitches Gone... Everything is gone... The save data still exists and I am NOT deleting it because I DO know the solution. Only the solution is both Illegal and very complicated (If you are Japanese it might be a bit easier and you will find out why). So I found out how an ID check is done and if the .sav file does not match with the dupe, it will basically be useless. If you "disabled" the ID Check, got onto your game, saved (which creates a brand new dupe hopefully) and then enable the ID Check, chances are you would fix your game. What am I waiting for you ask? Well guess what? All of the coding is in Japanese and there is a lot of coding to translate. I've pinpointed where the ACNL content and data is though so I don't need to search for that. I just hope Nintendo replies to my support email (though developers are the only ones who can fix my problem without any errors). Oh and if I try and delete just one line of coding, my game will cease to exist. Either way it could take months to fix my game and I'm not restarting. Hopefully I become the first 3DS Hacker and the first guy to fix this problem. Wish me luck!

P.S. if you want to see my town you can right now, use my Dream Address and you can see all the work that is washed away. It's not Up to Date though, maybe 4 days behind.

This is pretty much what happens when you try to "steal" a free copy of the game again. I learned the hard way myself but my town was barely made so I didn't lose much. Hope you find help and that this taught you a lesson or something

Shame your the only one who actually likes him other than me. Everyone calls him ugly. Same problem with vic, everyone calls him ugly as well, yet hes best bull by far. Same deal with pretty much everyone in my village actually.

People haven't because they didn't try hard enough. They gave up at the message and restarted. The code for the save data check exists somewhere in the .app file or .sav file (depends).

Gosh, I'm so sorry.. This sort of reminds me of the time when i accidentally time traveled a year ahead on new years and all of my hybrids and such disappeared. i spent tons of bells on so much hybrids and then it was basically wasted bells. Though, that is definitely not as bad as your situation and i'm so sorry that this has happened to you. I wish you the best of luck.

I have figured it out!!!!!! If I buy a Two prong to USB converter, replace the .sav being used by the ID check with a matching .sav it should work. Hopefully using a converter should work!

I hope you can fix the game that'd be awesome and a big help to others who end up losing their data and stuff. I wish you luck if you proceed trying to fix it and i'm really sorry to hear that ;; it happens too often and nintendo should of thought this would happen and maybe tried putting a warning or something with it to prevent these problems and try to fix it, (sorry i am not very updated with these news) i hope you get everything back soon
