But even though I forgive it doesn't mean I will let it happen again. For example; if my boyfriend cheated on me I would forgive him but I would break up with him, because chances are it would happen again.

Yes i can. They're has been so many arguments and stupid things people have done to me. But when i think back to it none of it really matters anymore to me because it actually wasnt that bad... Eventually, I can forgive but it takes time. It also depends on the situation.
In some cases, I don't forgive. I don't really "hold grudges" I just ignore and completely block that person out of my life as if they never existed.

I'm a horrible grudge holder...I've only truly forgiven 2 people in my entire life and that's a lot for me, but I'll be honest I still hold the grudge. I never forget what people do to me, and if you mess up with me, you can pretty much forget about ever being forgiven. But it also depends on the situation, I will forgive for something small and not really a big deal, but you really hurt me...nice knowing you.
