I know this may seem like a dumb question, but can you? Celia and Sylvia are annoying as heck and I've been wanting to get rid of them.
I ignore them, have gifted them really dumb stuff or little to nothing, and have hit them over the head with my net multiple times, but they're still here. :mad:

Without time travel you have to wait for either of them to have the move out bubble. You could also kick them out with a campsite visitor but it’s very tedious to get them to pick the right villager to replace. The easiest way would be with an amiibo because you get to pick which villager they replace.

Here's the link to the move out guide. You'll on average have a villager ask to move out every 2 weeks. You can turn off your game right way when you talk to a villager you want to keep and they have the move out bubble. Just don't talk to them for that day and wait for the next day because there's a chance for the game to pick someone else to move. Or the game might pick the same villager again. But it's better than waiting for another week for the bubble to appear.

as said above, the only way you can kick a specific villager out is by using an amiibo. campsite villagers can be used to kick out villagers but they choose someone at random and it can be super time consuming to try and get them to pick the person you want (exit and close the game right after their suggestion and then re-load everything and go through the process again). if you want to time travel, there is a way that I've been using to get rid of most of the villagers I don't want but it can be a bit of a process to get the ones you want to get the "moving out" thought bubble :)

Sheeeeeesh. I guess I'll wait it out then. Thanks for the help information! ^^;

I am sure the guide also mentions this, but just in case, ignoring the villagers, hitting them, and not gifting will not cause them to move out. Having low friendship with the villager will somewhat increase the chance of them asking to move but ignoring and not gifting do not lower friendship. Hitting does but the friendship cannot go into negative as far as I know (and it is so sad....). It is probably more effective to raise the friendship levels of the villagers you do not want to move to a level higher than the ones you want to move out, though even this is not a a guarantee.

and remember to get the villager to move out you have to talk to them when they have the move out thought bubble, they never move out on their own/ without permission.
