Can villagers visit your house in the game like in New Leaf?

Can the villagers visit your house like in the older games? And if they can't, do you think they'll add it in an update? I would gladly take an update that improves villagers and how you interact with them.

i don't think they do, it was kinda annoying when they did it in NL tbh, but maybe if they bring it back and make it less frequent i'd be all for it

Sadly, no. I really miss having them over lol, but I imagine maybe some people didn't like that aspect of the game so they didn't added into NH. I really hope they bring it back though with an option to say yes or no when they come knocking XD

yeah it was a little creepy for them to just walk in.... although, I suppose that's what we do to them! xD

It seems like it was going to be in the game, some of the villagers in the early game insist they'll have to visit you some day but...I guess it never made it in.

I quite like the idea of letting them in while I'm out sorting the island for them. Dom could do my laundry; Katt could cook supper; Fauna could run me a bath.

It's the least they could do to show their appreciation for all I've done for them. It it weren't for me, they'd still be living in tents!

I don't get it, why include dialogue that's essentially teasing something and then not include it? Mind boggling.

It's a shame that they didn't include it through. In a future update, maybe? Along with some improved dialogue and interactions.

To each their own but I personally found it cute.
Also, when they'd ask you to visit them at a particular time - I know that was not always possible due to irl commitments, but it was still cute how they'd invite you over.

Honestly, I used to get annoyed when villagers popped into my house in New Leaf. Cause I would always feel obligated to just sit there and chill with them forevveeeeerrr. And seriously I swear they would not leave sometimes. And then you just show them every room, like come on - let's go stare at my fish collection again!
BUT, crazy enough, I do miss this feature! ;___;

I really miss villagers visiting. I feel in general they reduced villager interaction in this game way too much. I've been popping back into NL to play with some friends that don't have a Switch and villagers are constantly asking me to get them things, deliver things, get a petition signed, or visit. I can understand people finding it annoying sometimes because it seems nearly constant in NL, but now it feels almost non existent in NH.

i thought it was quite an annoying fearure, since i always felt rude leaving the house early in new leaf
