Can villagers like Étoile move into your town from other people?

I really want ?toile and some of the other special Amiibo villagers, but I?m unsure if you?re able to adopt those villagers from others or if I have to get the card/figure myself.

If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it. I?ve been searching everywhere.

Nope. None of the Sanrio/Splatoon/Zelda/Monster Hunter villagers can be adopted from other people. If you want the Sanrio villagers, though, I recommend getting "fanmade sets" that you find on eBay and Etsy. I bought my set for around 28 dollars and they work like the real thing. If you don't care about authenticity, those are the way to go imo.

Ok that’s what I was afraid of, because I have an old fashioned 3DS so it requires me buying the adaptor thing. Guess I will ah e to look into it because ?toile is such a cutie.
