Can someone hold my things while I reset?

I really need someone to hold my stuff while I reset towns. It might be a while though. So can I drop my items off at someone's town, and pick them up when I get a town I'm happy with? Thank you. I'll need you to hold them just for today , and I need to pick them up today as I'll be busy tomorrow. Thanks!
