Can someone explain the popularity of Judy?

A lot of people choose villagers in the same way as people choose the right painting for a living room, and her looks are very trendy so she fits a lot of popular town themes, I think. It certainly isn’t her unique personality.

She's not my cup of tea but she looks really good in-game. She's probably my least favorite of the new villagers (don't come for me), but I understand why people like her a lot! She's a cub which is one of the better species imo and her colors are pastel which is really appealing to a lot of people. The huge starry eyes probably seal the deal.

I don't really think it requires explanation, some people just like her, some people don't, same can be said for any villager I think.

I will say it's probably down to her colour palette and gradient colouring and obviously the eyes - but they're all pretty obvious. She's one of the more creative looking snooty villagers that's for sure.

She is adorable! Her eyes are soooo freaking cute and the pastel colors look great! She was one of my highest priority villagers! I think snooty works well with her with this games version of snooty too, she does seem like someone that'd be prim and proper!

Not a favorite of mine either, as I tend to like neutral/boring looking villagers. HOWEVER, she’s definitely not ugly. She’s very cute and I would have her in my town, if I could find a male cub to match her. Stitches is too much, specially for my town; so it would have to be a neutral looking cub like Marty(but he’s not in the game...yet)

For me it’s more that she looks like this sugary sweet normal type, but she is a snooty. She can be sweet and sings around the island, but she also gives very mischievous, devious looks as well. She’s like the angel and devil on your shoulder all in one form

I'm not a fan of hers at all, although I do love Reneigh, Audie, and Raymond out of the new villagers.

Judy is one of those villagers that I just don't like to look at. It's weird because I like her color scheme and I usually love galaxy themed things. But her face is just so off-putting to me (her eyes). She's among my least favorite designs in the game.

My friend, who doesn't follow any AC related things online and just plays blind, recently got Judy in her campsite. She was so excited and was like "omg, isn't she cute?!" I didn't want to rain on her parade and tell her that I don't like her, but I also couldn't bring myself to even pretend to agree that she was cute. So instead I sort of avoided the question and said "oh! I saw a picture of her online and had a feeling you'd love her! Awesome that you got her."

I'd say the novelty factor is even stronger because there are so few new villagers this go around.

Im shocked the eyes are so popular amongst people. At first glance I assumed people wouldn't really be interested, boy was I wrong.

While I'm not personally into Judy, I understand that she's a pastel ombre cub with galaxy eyes.

While it may not alight with my personal interest, I think for me, it seems clear why so many people are into her.

Same with Raymond. People like heterochromia, people like glasses, people like cats, people like glasses on a cat with heterochromia.

I didn't understand the appeal until I saw her in one of the other staff member's towns. She's pretty cute. Not one I'd go hunting for, but if I were to come across her on a mystery island I would invite her.

I'm not gonna repeat what others have already said but while the fact she's snooty is a little polarizing I personally wouldn't care for her because to me, with that tiny dot for her nose, she doesn't really look like a bear? She looks like some sort of space creature from another planet or smth. Which might make her appealing for a space themed island, but me not so much I guess lol
