Can lily of the valleys be destroyed if you run over them?

Topic. I'm guessing they can't get destroyed but I'm paranoid and I want to be sure. I got my first one today and tried running on top once and it looked like it *could* get destroyed, but it might have just been the animation.. Someone please set my mind at ease!






I finally cleaned up today and got a 5 star rating ^_^ I'm excited for the lily of the valley flowers to start spawning! My question is, is it like New Leaf where only 1 can grow a day and they grow at the edge of cliffs? Or can multiple grow and can they grow anywhere? Thank you! I just can't wait til that first one sprouts up !

Edit: Also, I have 12 dropped items as decor/convenience around town. With this I still get 5 stars. So say the day ends with my island having 5 stars, but the next day, lots of branches have spawned. Will a lily of the valley still have a chance to spawn because it was a 5 star the day before? Or does it not count because all the branches fell and took away 5 star rating?

Same as new leaf in my experience, 1 per day on the cliff edges! I hope you get one soon, congrats on you 5 star rating!! <3

It's not everyday for sure. I don't know what the spawn times are, it's almost weirdly random. It's only one on a cliff every whenever they want to grow.

It took me 3 weeks to spawn a 2nd one. But after that, I seem to get at least 1 or 2 every week while maintaining a 5 star status.

They can spawn any day, at a minimum of 1 per 14 days.

It's definitely not 1 per day.
If that were the case, I'd have loads of them given that I reached a 5-star rating towards the end of April.
I have about 10 or so.

I just thought you got a small chance every day for 1 to grow. Like they were just rare.

I believe this is true - there's a percentage chance for one to spawn every day that you end on 5 stars.

Yes that's possibly so but I think the chance is low so you more than likely won't get one sprouting daily.

I get one maybe once a week, 3-4 days at most. I hit 5 stars around April and only have 10?

Oh, yeah I know they won't spawn daily but I wanted to confirm if there is a chance that only 1 can spawn daily like before, or multiple can spawn. Since things work differently from what I'm used to from New Leaf sometimes! It's always been rare so I'm prepared to wait ^_^

Oh sorry. I must have misunderstood your post then.
Yeah, I guess you do get a chance of them spawning daily but it's so minute that you're more likely to notice them spawning weekly or even less if that makes sense.

I might not have worded it right so it's okay but yeah I guess they haven't changed how rare it is. I don't know if I can even maintain a 5 star long enough for 1 to spawn lol

Branches don't count as dropped items.

:O they don't? Oh thank god! I kept reading different things so I didn't know what the truth was. Thanks for confirming! Now I guess I can just make sure there's nothing lying on the ground before the new day starts and not worry about the fallen branches! ^_^

Yeah, it would be a little unfair if it worked that way. I definitely have more than 15 branches scattered around and my rating has stayed at 5.
