Can I visit a town pretty please?

Sadly, my rl friends don't play animal crossing, which is why I've never visited anyone else's town yet (other than in dreams). Tried it today for the first time, got some not-so-wonderful error messages concerning my internet connection. After trying to figure out what the issue could be for literally hours, I feel like that maybe ... mayybeeee it might work now? I don't want to get my hopes up, but if anyone is on and willing to let me try and visit their town, it'd be much appreciated (I might be stuck being a lone wolf because of my damn router, but ... a girl has to try, right?)
