Can I pick up voided villagers when I'm at 10?

I just told Ribbot to move. But then I remembered I need more PWP:s than I can build in the time until he moves, I even need to demolish some.

I'm really afraid of getting a voided villager if I let him move now. Of course I would turn off streetpass and would not Wi-Fi, but is it possible I already have picked up a voided villager just waiting to move in once someone moves out? That would be a disaster...

I don't think so. You only get voided villagers if you have a spot free in your town, I believe.

Nope, you only get voided villagers if you have enough space.

I think you will only get a voided villager if you have a free spot, I really don't think they are creepily lurking by your town's gates...

You only get them if a villager is in boxes or there's a space in your town. At least in my experience

Whew thank god, I was worrying about this too! Streetpass/void move ins are the bane of my existence.
