Can I move my house? ('Demolish my house")

If I choose 'demolish my house', does that mean I can just move where I want to be or does that start everything over?

As the mayor? Never tried it but I suspect it's the same as restarting the town.

i read somewhere on the forum once that demolishing your home just gets rid of your house so you can replace it. i think there's another selection for "recreate town" which deletes your town entirely.

i think you should pick "demolish my house", and i'm sure isabelle will ask you explicitly for your permission and explain what exactly it means. let me know if that works !

Thr mayor can't demolish their house. If you do so, it will restart your entire town.

Only side characters can demolish their houses, and if they do it deletes their entire character so everything they earned will be erased.
