Can I invite a moved out villager back to my island immediately?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if ACNH has a 16 villager cycle process like in NL?

So Beau wants to move out. I want to free up a space so I can get Raymond. I have Beau's amiibo. After Beau has moved out and Raymond has taken his empty plot, can I then use Beau's amiibo to get him back right away? Or will I have to go through a bunch of villagers first like in NL?

it does not lol i got marshal right after i moved him out to give away ^_^

No cycle in this game, you can move him back in ASAP.

Nah, you can move them right back in if you want. A lot of people do that on purpose actually especially if they had a particular villager as a starter, so that they can get them back with their original house.

I let Zucker move and when his plot was open, I went island-hopping. First islander? Zucker. I got the option to
move him in but didn’t.
