Can I Have some advice on making villagers move out?

I have been trying to get rocket and Lionel to move out for a LONG time but all my cutest villagers keep askin instead! Can anyone give me some advice?

Do you ignore them? If you do, then you should probably start talking to them a lot. There was this friendship ladder thing I hear about and I heard that the higher they are, the more chances they will ask you if they can move.

Yes! I have found that the best way to kick them to the curve is either talk to them ONCE to introduce yourself and ignoring them completely after that, or befriending them. If you talked to them two or three times already, I suggest you do the second. Although there are some people who swear that it is completely random... so keep trying! eventually they'll have to give in
