Can I grow flowers on the Beach?

I've been working a lot on my town's landscaping but I don't have much room to place the groups of hybrids I am trying to breed. Is it possible to breed flowers on the beach area cuz that's where I have the most open room in my town

Yes, you can breed hybrids on the beach. I do that because the villagers usually won't plant their own flowers there.

Yes! I know this because I've had black roses on the beach, and they still produced hybrids!
