So I am using my entire beach as a storage for all my hybrids. I'm wondering if Gulliver will be prevented from visiting because of this.. can he spawn where there are flowers?
Yes. You'll notice that the beach has a 'spawn section' where flowers/items cannot be placed on, so you'll still be able to spawn shells/star fragments/gulliver even if every tile of your beach is covered.
I have a few spots where they still spawn. The beach isn't 100% covered. I still have a few spots here and there where I see them spawn. I just figured I'd move some flowers for the moment if Gulliver actually comes. That wouldn't be too hard for me

Thank you so much! That's why I was wondering. Cuz I know other things could spawn but I didn't know how much space Gulliver needed since he's def much bigger than a shell or star fragment lol

this was the case for my new leaf town, and today he was on top of the hybrids. i think it should be same for new horizons.
