so right now i've realized i've kinda screwed myself over by starting an amiibo card villager selling business...because i can't have my full dream town lineup with any of the amiibo card villagers i'm selling (which is literally 2, maybe 3). so i'm wondering if i can have a normal, random campsite villager kick out an amiibo villager or if there's ANY way to do it...or if i'm screwed and will just have to pay an insane amount for an amiibo card of a villager i actually care about. is there any way to get around the whole amiibo thing?

As far as I'm aware, your campsite visitors can force out an amiibo villager, but it's random and you will likely have to re-roll before the game saves until they suggest that particular villager.

As far as I know, it’s possible for campsite villager s to kick out an amiibo villager. It’s also possible for amiibo villagers to move out too, i’ve had amiibo villagers ask me to move.

Definitely. I just had Sherb ask to replace Prince, who was an amiibo villager.

Unlike replacing with an amiibo camper, a regular camper won't give you the option to choose which villager they replace, it's random. But if they ask about someone you don't want leaving, then you can reset before the game autosaves and keep trying until they choose someone you're ok with.

yes that worked for me yesterday
i had 3 amiibo villagers in my town and my campsite villager luckily wanted to kick out one of them

I believe that whether your villager was originally an amiibo, a camper or not, a villager is a villager and can be kicked out regardless.

Amiibo campers are the same as others besides the occasional move in glitches.

As others have said, amiibo villagers ask to move out normally now. It will be hard to find your favorites, maybe, but no harder than playing the game without using amiibo cards.
