Campsite struggles: Come on Walker!

Walker is in my campsite and i want him to move into my town he declines! I've reset about 6 times and acts shocked and says he doesn't want to move. I have 8 villagers so there shouldn't be an issue with that. Will he ever accept?

To quote Thonky...
"Campers can only move in if you currently have only nine villagers in your town and there is nobody moving in tomorrow"

Could he still move in if I have 8?

You don't need to reset next time - just keep talking to him over and over again. Even if they say no to your first invitation, they can/will ask again and you can get them to change their minds.

I had the same thing when Tutu was in my campsite, and I honestly thought that if she said no that was it, so I let her be (as much as I wanted to cry). Thankfully I've since received Tutu through a lovely person on these forums.
