campsite resetting; share stories and experiences!

i'm so keen in getting erik from the campsite. i could get him from someone else but i just really want him to not talk about his old town all the time, specially since on sogno's story he's supposed to be one of the original villagers

for some reason it's so less frustrating than plot resetting for me, maybe because i get to see all these cool villagers

so, have you guys ever did this? how did it go? i almost fell asleep twice on this, so help me stay awake haha

Eventually I got Yuka whom I like very much, my sister called me asking for something and I forgot to save the game. When I got back my 3DS was dead

I campsite reset the day after the ceremony, since I think that's a day that you are guaranteed a camper. I got Diana and invited her in. It only took me an hour.

I tried camp resetting for a day and I hated it! The fact that the campsite isn't occupied every time felt like a huge time-waster for (ha, from the person that plot re-sets for DAYS). I wish you luck though! I had Erik as my first camper and I was pretty disappointed because my town was full

thank you everyone for sharing! i didn't know you that you'd always have a camper on the first day after the cerimony, that's pretty cool!

I looked it up, and tried it. Tt till someone is in the camp, if they aren't a villager you want, don't save, and tt 12 hours forward. Check, reset, tt back 12 hours. Repeat.

It says that this only works with new campsites though, normally the tent will disappear after 3-4 campers. Still worth it to get those though, I might give it a try. c:

ooh i camp resetted in one of my towns for a dreamie but then Marina popped up.
I was like "eh ok why not" and had her for a few months and man she was SO CUTE.

I did once. I wasn't looking for anyone in particular, just someone new and different.
I don't have a set list of dreamies, because I feel like...there's a lot of villagers I wouldn't get to get to know, if I tried to obtain everyone on my dreamie list, like Croque, Rudy, Coach, Rodeo, Shari, ect... Plus, I LOVE variety.
I didn't really enjoy it. So, I didn't do it for long...Never got anyone I wanted in my town from that, either.

I got most of my permanent residents un intentionally from campsite. It is kinda unbelievable but I got diana, bob, skye, lucky and rudy without trying? back then I was cycling through 16 villagers to get Fang back and they just appeared without camp resseting. And after I got fang I was thinking how I needed a jock but I hated most of the jock designs and that rudy was the only one I thought was kinda cute... and next day he was camping there.

This happened back in my old town and I was campsite resetting for my dreamies and then I ran into Genji but I was really frustrated because Spork was right where I wanted his plot to be so I had to pass him up and then I later on moved Spork out and managed to find Genji again after 2 days of resetting.
Btw, don't try making a bet with your friend when campsite resetting. "Lol I bet you I won't be able to get Kabuki by tonight." Ahahahaa.... five resets later there he was in his little tent. :|

I tried to do the campsite resetting trick where you can go back and forth a 2 day timeframe and get a camper to pop up every single time, but it works when you haven't built the campsite.

I met some okay-ish villagers, but they weren't my Dreamies.
However, while doing this, villagers will also naturally move in/out, and one of my Dreamies moved in unexpectedly into a horrible place. I just finished the 16 villager cycle for her an hour ago, and my lesson has been learnt >n<

Good luck! I had the same hope in getting Erik, he's my first ever dreamie.
But I got frustrated in resetting for him. However in my wait for him I got Lolly, Marina, Julian, Beau and Diana to move in c: in the end I got him from a good friend and although he does talk about his old town, I don't mind because my friend really took care if him too c: I absolutely adore him.
