Campsite Mechanics

If a villager comes to the campsite... uh, let's say Tangy to make it easier. If Tangy drops by then leaves without you inviting her because you already had ten villagers then two questions:

1. Does that count as your villagers in that you have to wait 12 before you can see them again?

2. If not is there a different rotation for the campsite or is it totally random? If I miss Tangy because I have 10 villagers do I have to wait for them all to cycle through before Tangy cones back?

Oh a third question: can Tangy still move into my village as a random if she's been by in the campsite?


I'm so sorry if this is hard to understand, I'm often very I'll and I'm having difficulty thinking past my medication tonight.

There's no cycle or rotation for campsite villagers. You could technically get the same camper twice in a row. But there's like 300 of them and chances are 100% random, so it'd be very lucky to get the same camper again. It's not impossible though!
Also, you can adopt Tangy or she can randomly move into your town regardless of appearing in your campsite before, it doesn't affect anything. I believe you could even adopt her from some other town the very same day she's camping on yours, and it wouldn't be a problem. Not completely sure on that last one though. >v<

That's fantastic, I was hoping that was the case. Laughing so much thinking about twin villagers, someone has GOT to test that!

I'm pretty sure it's random but sometimes it's not random enough. Of my last 10 campers I've had Beardo a good 3 times. I wish I did know the mechanics behind it cause I'd like to know why he keeps showing up.
Would be nice if we had some control in determining who the camper is so we had a shot at getting who we want. I would like Bob or Stitches which pretty much guarantees they'll never camp in my town,lol. Good luck getting the villager you want
