camper didnt move in?

i had a camper yesterday and i played a game and he was suposed to move in, but today i get on and i dont see him anywhere. i do have room for him, so it cant be that, but im just wondering what could have happened? or should i wait another day or so? ive never had a camper move in before so i assumed he would move in today.

If you wait another day, you should probably see their plot appear. I have had campers take multiple days to move in, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah,it takes three days for campers to move in.Their plot shows up two days after they agree to move in and then their house appears the next day.

campers can move in between 1 and 3 days after you convince them. i like to think that after you convince them, they go home the next day, pack up their stuff, and then come plot after they've packed

and thanks everyone. ive had these patterns layed down for plot resetting for a few days since one villager moved out, one finally moved in where i wanted her to then i saw a camper and now ihave to wait for him to move in, i just cant wait to get these patterns erased.
