Café Location Help

Hello. I just unlocked the caf?. But I am unsure where to put it. I have 2 spots I am thinking of.


What spot do you think is best?

I think the one by the river bend would look nice

if there's nothing on the river bend I think that would be the perfect spot! the bridge leading to that area would be nice and you could do some landscaping

The upper part from the left circle? thats my campsite area (this is an older map image. I havn't updated it)
But I think it would work as the left circle. a nice caf? on the river surrounded by flowers.

If you're going to build your cafe near the river, make sure that you have your bridges in the right places and make sure they are the kind you want them to be! If you build the cafe first, creating bridges (even if they are in the same spot as yours are now) may not be possible due to spacing reasons. In my previous town I build the cafe, then tried to rebuild one of my bridges from a cobblestone bridge into a brick bridge. It was in the exact same spot, but I couldn't build the new brick bridge because of the cafe. So, make sure you're happy with your bridges before building your cafe!

The bridge above the left circle i just redid from cobble to wood, so it is how i want it. the other bridge i have to remake, so maybe the left side is better location.

I would actually love for the river to be behind it, since it would offset the feeling of a 'shadow' behind the caf? as you're wandering your town.

The smaller one. It would be nice if it is near a river (I tried to put mine there, it was one space away so I deleted it. I tried to put it three spaces, or even too, but Isabelle was like, NO, TOO CLOSE TO TOWN PLAZA! It wasn't). Also, it is near a house. ANd having all of your things (Retail, Coffee, Town Hall) in one place would be a bit... um... tiring, I guess.

It could be over more if Axel's new house wasn't in the way (damn Axel). And in that cliff infront I was planning on either a light house or windmill.

Neither. Below the southern-most bridge, overlooking the ocean.

EDIT: Then the lighthouse to the left of it, above the area of the beach that gets wide.

The bottom cliff near mayors house? I was gonna put either a windmill or lighthouse there though.

You could put the lighthouse over the area of the beach that goes inward, then the cafe next door? That'd have a nice feel. Up to you though. c:

Oh, like next to the villagers house? I suppose that could work

I don't have a preference in regards to the two spots you circled, but if I could choose then I'd put it on the top right of the map, at the right of the town tree.

Of course it might look different when place, but imagining it I like it, though maybe more to the left so I can line the right side with trees. Then again, trees are my answer to everything.
