haha this just make me think what if there were events where the ocean covered the beach? That would be cool.

A storm surge! I wish there were storms in AC like once every year, so if any villagers homes were damaged I could help them, but it is animal crossing no such thing as a storm! or anything negative lol!

I can try later if I remember... I'm at my grandma's house right now and I don't have my 3DS on me.

I think even if I reserved a spot it wouldn't have helped me... because the spot I wanted is clear and I still couldn't fit it. XD

I put my house near the waterfall and the beach. I put it there because I can just imagine the overlook of the ocean, the sound of the waterfall and how close it is to the beach...

I believe you can demolish it by moving a new character in over the top of it. Nook says the house can go there but the public work will be removed. Build a house then delete the character and you can build your cafe today.

I left a whole area of my town undeveloped, still couldn't fit the dang thing anywhere, so it ended up on a Southern cliff. At least it's got a nice view!

I'm probably going to place mine near my Re-Tail and by the cliffside as there's plenty of space there.

I can't make more space. The trees aren't and were never a problem since they're destroyed once you choose a spot.

It's certainly bigger than I was expecting, haha. Luckily enough for me, there's a space to the left of my plaza, next to a cliff, which I can squeeze the cafe into.

Don't get me wrong... I have a lot of space but, not exactly where I wanted my Cafe to be. x.x Basically the only area I imagined my Cafe to be was too small for one, so now I have to look elsewhere.

Oh ok I see what you mean. I made sure a river was right behind my cafe so that I wouldn't have to see that big ugly roof .___.

Now that I think about it, there is no where else I could have put it without it looking awkward...

I put mine is a rather scenic location down the village a bit, away from most houses, and the bend of the river flowing through town. It's quiet, and not a lot of eye sore buildings around, and the sound of the babbling brook nearby fits with the relaxed feel the cafe is supposed to have I feel.

Retail is nearby, but so close that you see it when standing near the cafe.
