So, I had zero interest in the Switch or any of its games until Animal Crossing was announced for it. I ordered one the very next day out of excitement.
I never expected to really play it much until AC came out, but in the time since, it's probably become my most used console! For example, I was one of the people who never really got the hype over BoTW; the only reason I played it was because it came bundled in. But after a few hours it quickly became one of my favourite games of all time! Oh, and having a portable version of Stardew Valley is just the best thing ever
