Buying in-game bells with actual money?

the people here who advice you to sell your TBT bells are absolutely right! I sold 400 a while ago and you have over 1200 to sell :o That can get you a lot of money :D And it's save because you can see people's wifi rating on this forum :D

i personally wouldn't do it but hey - different strokes for different folks.

if you really need bells - there's someone (i think their username was hype) in the tbt marketplace who pays 600k per 100 tbt bells. seeing how you have collected quite a lot of tbt bells, this might be an option for you :) i've done it before and it went really well.

Yeah, I've seen that person's signature too. I actually clicked on it because I didn't really believe it. But sure enough, it's true. So weird. I mean, I know people take this game way too seriously, but spending actual money on bells...lol. I'm going to go ahead and join the people who'll give you bells to NOT pay her $2.

Buying lots of turnip and sell it at someone's retail with high price can earn more than that $2 you spend. Don't waste your money, and even more, your parent money, virtual money stay virtual.

Seriously, put up your tbt bells to sell. I think i saw 1000 tbt bells go for 8 million a week ago. Was it more? Totally worth it.

Selling TBT Bells also work too, though I'd rather stockpile my TBT bells first before selling it.

If you have a lot of money.. I guess? But otherwise, I don't see why and I can't fathom the amount of laziness it would take to buy bells with real money. If it takes 30 minutes to get 8 million bells (via turnip day) and you can keep going to Joan, buying more turnips, and keep selling, why would you ever need to buy bells?

How exactly do you sell TBT bells? (I've never done that and I'm still relatively new to the site).

Also, does selling all of them have any repercussions?

You just trade them basically! Go to the TBT market place and say you want to sell them for a certain amount or something lol Then transfer the bells to them and they'll drop off the bells in your town or you go to theirs!

Thank you for the guide!
I will look into it more tomorrow when I'm more mentally awake and, hopefully, I'll be able to put the TBT bells into good use.

Ugh, don't do it! You shouldn't need to spend your real life money for virtual money, you're the only one loosing in this situation.
I think it's bad that this person is selling virtual money for real money. I'd never dream of buying bells for my money.

I think [and heard that] it's illegal to make real money from this.. It apparently violates Nintendo's TOS.

I honestly would NEVER spend my actual money on bells, or virtual currency period. I have many ways of getting as many bells as I could ever want in the game itself, and I feel like it's useless to offer bells for real money, unless you're that desperate for bells. It's not worth it with all the methods to get bells out there. Don't do it.

I don't know about that and even if it is illegal, it is quite silly.
I DO think that it's up to the people what they choose to do with their money - again, I can choose to sell 2nd hand games, consoles and what not, so I don't see why getting money for in-game stuff should be illegal.

But once again, thanks for the advice everyone.

I read the details for it when I encounter the person who put that in their signature. It said that this seller, was an AC addict and spend so much time playing, earned lots of bells and thinking about earning a little profits (yea a little) from spending so much time in the game and hopefully everyone please support. I didn't type it out words by words that just roughly the point I remember. I know he/she spent lots of time and we do too. So, from this person words, I can said we will earn that amount too if we play that much so why be such a rush and buy with RL money?

Even desperate, there's lots of method to earn bells virtually too. I agreed with you is useless to spend real money for virtual money (from my RL experiences long time ago)

I don't know, I saw them posted it in their signature, wait I find the website for you. I remember is entering a giveaway...

I can't name the user's TBT ID here, but here's the website for you to see, NOT ADVERTISING. Please don't get influence. http://animal-crossing-digital-items.myshopify.com/

It's not illegal but it is against Nintendo's ToS, and if they caught wind of what you were doing (somehow), then they could slap you with a cease and desist.

I don't have a problem with it, but know the risk.
