When you put it this way, it seems like an alright idea. But personally, I enjoy checking out new villagers' homes for the first time and seeing what they have inside. It's a nice little surprise.

Haha, dictating the interior design of your villagers seems a little controlling to me! I like the power we have being able to control what we put in their pockets and what furniture or clothing we trade with them or gift them in letters. I also like the addition of being able to influence their shopping choices at Re-Tail. That way, we still have a small say on what goes in their home if there's something we really want them to have, but it's ultimately their decision, and the placement is their choice. It makes them seem more unique and personable to me, like actual neighbours!
