Bushes/Trees not growing?

Did time traveling cause this? ;-;

I time traveled day by day slowly to get some bushes/trees and plant them. But as I kept going back slowly to todays original date I noticed none of the plants I planted were growing.

Then I just skipped back and went back from 7/5 to todays date 6/29 and the same plants are still there, not fully grown. They arent dead, they just look like I just planted them.

Is it because I time traveled? I'm confused. ;-;
