I need help figuring out which bugs and fish I need in order to complete my collection.

I'm missing:
- the bug below the fruit beetle
- fish below the rainbow trout

Thanks...

Thanks!
I guess I'll have to wait a while to get the Scarab Beetle (I was also missing the Tarantula too. :P)

Edit: Wait. On the island? Is there a specific time? How could I catch one there?

Almost all summer bugs and fish are available year round on the island no matter what season it is in your town. You can catch one on the trees in the grassy center between the hours of 11pm and 8am.

A question: When hunting for fish, do I need to go in and out a building to reset the fish if I don't see the one a I want?

This will help spawn new fish faster, yes. You can also run to scare away smaller fish whose shadows do not match the size of the fish you are looking for.

Thanks for all the help. Now I've caught every type of fish. Now only the Scarab Beetle and Tarantula remain.

Good luck with the tarantula next summer(unless you time travel), I didn't see a single one for all of summer n___n

Well actually, my 3DS wasn't working for a long time. Stopped working around July. When I fixed it, I decided to start at July 7th, since that was the last time I played. I spent 5 full days TT'ing and searching for the Tarantula. I only ever found 3, and all 3 hit me...

Yeah, they and the scorpions are really difficult to catch. I think it's definitely something that takes practice. What I try to do is creep up on them very slowly with my net and when they turn and hiss, just stay still, they won't attack unless you move/get closer. And then when they turn back around continue creeping and rinse and repeat until they're in your net! I almost caught a scorpion that way, but mine kept jumping in ponds...

The reason I got bit is because after 9 hours of running around, I just got lazy and just aimlessy walked everywhere. :P
