IE, it has never failed on me, never crashed on me, so I'm happy.
And I can't be bothered to install new web browsers if I've already got a working one, so no, you can't persuade me to get a different browser.
You may not notice it, but IE puts your computer at a risk. The whole browser is basically a giant security flaw. Now, I understand that you're fine with your current browser, but that's no reason to not try out other ones. Not only are they free to download, but they don't take up much space at all, they're easy to uninstall if you don't like them, and they're much better, faster, and safer than IE. Do yourself a favor and try either Safari (my personal favorite), Chrome, Opera, or Firefox.
Well it is illegal to uninstall internet explorer. You really can't do anything besides not using it.
Um...it's not illegal to uninstall IE. It's just next to impossible to completely remove it from your computer, because Windows has it so tied into the operating system. It's best not to even try to remove it, lol. And I never even said anything about uninstalling IE in the first place...

Also, you could use the same advice, Nic. Netscape is far inferior to even IE at this point. Seriously, try another browser. You may be used to Netscape and all, but this is 2010, not 1995. It's time to upgrade. XD

Um, you do realize that the Wii is a seventh generation video game console, too, right? >_>

I do realize that, but it is still the same example, just mine is based on graphical capabilities.

Wii is a souped-up GameCube, at best.

What browser should I upgrade too?

Also yes it is. If you go through a few google searches you'll eventually find a program that will delete IE. It is only good for 95,98.ME,2000. It only will remove 3.0 - 6.0

sigh I'm on chrome right now... I decided it was time to retry things....
Still don't like safari.... but chrome is faster....and they do have themes now... and I suppose I can get used to the different layout... but iono... I still like firefox.

I'm aware that the Wii doesn't have the graphical power of a PS3, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a current console, unlike Netscape, which is a long discontinued browsers. The current browsers far surpass what Netscape has to offer, and you can't really get a better experience with Netscape than you can with better, updated browsers. It's a completely different case with Wii and video game consoles, because there are exclusive games to Wii that you can't experience on other consoles, plus the heavy use of motion controls. Now, let's not turn this into a console war, m'kay? >_>

Um, Opera is really big. It's one of the top five browsers. In fact, in terms of performance, it's among the top three (along with Safari and Chrome).

Whichever you like best. I highly recommend Safari, but Chrome and Opera are good choices, too. Firefox is okay. Stay away from IE.

And I'm pretty sure there's a way to delete IE without any illegal third party applications... I could be wrong, though. Either way, it's damn near impossible to completely rid your computer of IE, be it illegal or not. XD

The average person probably doesn't know any browser outside of IE. XD

All the third party programs such as IERadicator will remove 99% of the IE files and the program but it can't remove the MS HTML layout engine. (example: outlook)

I have had my experience with a lot of browsers over the years and I have to say FireFox is the best if you have errors, glitches or bugs. All you have to do is reinstall the FireFox and see where the error is and remove it easily. But a lot of browsers they are not that simple to remove errors. Personally I love using Netscape as it is a very smooth browser. It may not be the safest but it is very smooth to run. All I have to say a browser isn't perfect and it is all our taste.

Safari, Chrome, Opera, and Firefox all run much smoother than Netscape. Plus, the newer, better browsers actually comply with today's web standards, including support for HTML5. You won't get that with Netscape.

Also, for those people who just make the switch from Firefox because they're too attached to their add-ons, Apple has added support for extensions (basically the same as Firefox add-ons) for Safari 5, which is available for download now. I just downloaded an awesome Gmail extension for it, and it works a lot better than Google's own Gmail Notifier.
