Bronze trophies

Has anyone else had trouble earning bronze fishing and bug trophies? It took me the longest time to finish my trophy collection because I kept getting only gold and silver trophies. I finally got the bronze ones though and put them all on display in one of my museum rooms:

I send my three player characters out, and all got a trophy, it was very easy, but time consuming

The fishing ones was hard to get. The silver I was tied for 1st place with Tutu. She checked her fish in first. At the last minute a villager magical gave a fish bigger than ours. Not sure how he got it check because I was by the tent. So happy to get bronze.

I've used side players to get the silver one.
