Hi guys, so I have an existing bridge that I will be replacing with a different styled one once I unlock it, but while I'm plot resetting a Villager nearby the bridge I'm wondering if anyone knows how many squares away a house needs to be away from the river in order to place horizontal bridge next to it. I just want to make sure I know I'm plotting my villager in an ok spot because last time I had to do a 16 villager cycle for her because 4 spaces wasn't enough even though that's what I've been told in the past.
Is an extra space needed to be taken in account for the house (so 5 spaces from the river edge) or is it more like 6, 7+?
Any help is appreciated thanks!
Edit: Here is the area I have in mind:
Originally Mira's house was right up against the edge of the path there, which is only 4 spaces away. I'm thinking about trying 6 spaces which is where that dirt patch is. What do you guys think?
