A Yes you can use it on Nintendo Wi-Fi. Others can see, That's what I have seen playing freindlys all day long and they said yes. ~Mr Hobo [but the below might happen]

Q does it hurt your Wii?
A if you can use it on WiFi, Nintendo released an error code that basically suspends/bans you from using your Wii/WiFi (i think) or it bricks it I'm not to sure, if you use hacks on WiFi (look at Mr Hobo's first post on this thread for more understanding)

I think I have been with this team only for a day or two just making little models about making these Texture hacks. Also, I been banned off Nintendo Wi-Fi for my Wii for a long time. They just hate me what I have done. But yeah. It doesn't brick your Wii. But if they find the Homebrew Ticket that's the ticket for hell. It banns you off Wi-Fi on the Wii. So be careful what you hack with.

Texture hacking isn't that hard to do. You just need to download Ocarina hack.
