Question: I originally wanted this for experienced players but then mafia died. I would like to mimic the Bravely Default system into mafia because I thought it would be interesting, but with the amount of new players I am currently wondering if that would be too confusing?

Basically, for new players unaware, each action role (doctor, for example) can protect one person once a night. A roleblocker can roleblock someone once a night. I had an idea that if a doctor didn't do anything for one night, for the next night they could potentially protect two people at once. Or, if they were feeling risky, they could protect two people right away on the first night. However, the drawback would be that they would be unable to do anything the next night.

I understand if that sounds too complicated for players, so I'm wondering what is everyone's opinion on this?

Also day one will start at 5 PM PST. Sorry, I'll keep days 24 hours long. I would end it at 4 PM PST (since that time seems to work the best for people) but I have various appointments at 4. I apologize.
