Bob’s new home!!!💜 (pics included)

Having Bob as a starting villager was a blessing and a curse. The silly little cat was excitedly welcomed and treasured from the very beginning, and my love for him only grew greater as time went on. His happy face, lazy personality, and adorable airplane running brought joy to all.

When I researched his “real” home & saw a bright and colorful playroom compared to the dark dungeon he was trapped in on my island, I was absolutely heartbroken. He did not deserve this, and I felt like a total monster forcing him to live this way.

The decision to move Bob out and back in was the best decision I have made on ACNH. I am extremely grateful for the TBT user who helped to hold him for me so I could get back the same Bob wearing his same favorite red aloha shirt and blue baby romper.

I totally cried when I saw him in his new home. Please take a look at this amazing transformation:

Who were your starting villagers? Are they still in their starter homes, and how do they make you feel?

Much better house for sure! I don't understand why original villagers can't have their nice houses over time. Such a shame!

I am planning to remove my starter villagers too! I really prefer their original interior furniture designs.

i cant sell them for anything because they aren’t original, I’m trying to sell pietro rn And so far, no luck

I'm hoping to do this for Stitches in the future! I thought about moving him out to villager hunt for a new Stitches but that makes me sad... I just want the same Stitches but with his cute playroom house and toys.

I’m honestly attached to the ugly house because it’s so nostalgic for me. I have both Maple and Stitches in the basic starter homes and I don’t have the heart to kick them out and acquire new versions of them. On the flip side, whenever I see their basic houses, I remember the reason why I kept my island and it evokes warm feelings in me so I kinda wanna keep the ugly houses as they sort of hold my island’s history in one way or another. We no longer have the town tree here so I guess I’m being sentimental but whatever. Lol.

me with jeremiah's starter house. though i used to dislike it until i gave him better furniture that's more like him. it suits his exterior too.

original interior should've been like this, very similar to punchy's so i was like okay maybe it wasn't so bad i got the starter house so i'm keeping it. and keeping him as a remembrance of when i started my island.

Yes I totally understand that side of it as well and respect that decision! It really gives them a history on the island, which is why I definitely made sure to take a photo of Bob’s old house to look back on.

Once he moves to someone else’s island his house will be his original so you can advertise him as any other.

I got villagers I didn’t care for in the beginning and quickly moved them out. :C

we love that for him i have my first 2 starters and intend on keeping one of them, which is kid cat. he has the starter interior, unfortunately, but i actually don’t mind it that much ;u;

I know the feeling. I'm going to have to get rid of villagers that grew on me overtime as well because of their non-default interiors. It's great Bob moved back onto your island. I wish we could decorate their house to what it should look like. I wonder if Nintendo went this route to make people stop restarting the game until they got specific villagers.
