Blue roses/purple pansies

Does anyone know how to spawn a blue rose or a purple pansy? I am currently trying hybrid red roses (from two reds) and hybrid red pansies (from a red and an orange). Has anyone been successful with any other way?

Just keep watering them everyday and you'll get one eventually. Or you could always buy a few of each and just breed them that way.

The funny thing is, I got my purple pansies unexpectedly. It spawned from either orange and orange or blue and orange. I don't think those flowers were even watered.

it helps to have beautiful ordinance on, water the flowers, put them in a checker formation and bury fertilizer in-between
