She recently broke her 3ds clumsy 9 year old, and now that means she can't get a new one until her birthday which is next year. (or maybe Christmas idk)

yeah it's derwin, I am pretty dang sure there's no other villagers in the void besides those 2, and coach should be picked up since he was my most recent move out but im not sure

I'm not sure if I want to test my luck with picking Coach out of the void when I could end up with Derwin, especially when I already have a lazy villager. Being recent doesn't improve their chances; it's really just a coin toss.

I did read that if you visit a town with 10 villagers you void will be clear, so if you have done that since Derwin was voided, he'll be gone and Coach will be dropped off with me. I don't know if you already knew that, but I just learned it, so I thought I'd share.

Well yeah, but like I said, it still is a 50/50 chance. I don't really wanna risk picking up Derwin when his chances of being dropped off is as great as Coach's. Sorry about that. :c
