Black Holes

The possibilities of that ever occurring inside of any of our lifetimes is highly unlikely. If the world shall truly end (the entire planet, not just humanity), it may be billions of years away. Indeed, humanity may not survive until that long, yet I believe that the earth shall be ceased by either a massive combing of our galaxy with another or a black hole many, many years away.

wtf? did you say you saw this in your science class? Get out of there!
I know, right! My teacher has issues showing that to us and freaking us out.

You're teacher is crazy, too? *sigh* high school teachers have srs issues.
My High School teachers aren't crazy! (That's England for you...No fun at all.)

@Topic: There won't be a black hole so don't panic.
@Anyone who might get Black Hole and Supernova mixed up: A Black Hole and a Supernova are to different things, (Supernova=Star exploding. Black Hole=Star imploding.)

supernova causes the black hole, iirc

True that but Supernova doesn't always equal Black Hole, observe this diagram if you may:
star.jpg

Following the path in which Supernova is located, another path leads off next to Black Hole:
Neutron Star. I was merely following what I learnt from my Physics teacher yesterday.

Or I haven't been paying attention(Unlikely) or I have more to learn next Physics class. (My Physics Teacher is unlikely to be wrong, she has written papers on these things. (She's a Doctor in Physics.))

lols

either way, supernovas cause black holes. though there's a whatever% chance it'll become something else, black holes happen due to supernovas.

I haven't finished learning about Black Holes or Supernovas yet, so thanks to you I know something other people in my class don't. (They were all saying they were different things.)

disregard what i said, i'm not a physics teacher.

Psychonaut doesn't want to be held responsible @_@
