So I?d love to get as many as possible for decoration purposes:)
I thought if I started a new town on a different copy and travel like 3 months ahead, my chances for getting lucky clovers would be pretty good! After doing this 3 times I got many clovers, but not 4 leaf ones...
So, was it just bad luck? :o is it more effective to have the beautiful town ordinance activated? How high are the chances of lucky clovers spawning? I?ve read 1/40, is that true?

Thanks for your help in advance!

If it’s for landscaping purposes, they don’t have to be four-leaf clovers. You can cover your entire town in paths (much like you would when villager plot resetting) and leave open areas where you want clovers to be (eg. Alternating stepping stones, dirt patches, etc). Then time travel your desired amount. Clovers should grow in those open areas, no need to farm four leaf ones :)

Ah yes, i Know, but I currently don’t time travel in my main town :( so I use a second copy, a town I just started for only this purpose haha :D
But I will follow your advice when I can time travel in my main town again :)

Ps. I just farmed my first lucky clover, yay! :D

I have maybe found two 4 leaf clovers in all of my towns total. It sucks. I have clovers all over my town, but I pretty much don't pick them up because I'm afraid they'll disappear. So my town is not very organized re: clovers, lol.

Try skipping time in your second town and just farm clovers that way, my sister did it for a while and got like 10 clovers :)

This wouldn't help much, but I heard that there are a few more types regarding the characteristic of town. And I feel like it's true from experience. For example, my 5th town tends to have island rares in my own club tortimer - it's too often actually. And in my other town, Redd only sells specific sets of arts - never going to have specific ones. And one of my town spawns four-leaf clovers obviously very more often than my other towns. But... you couldn't know what type of luck your town is uhmm.... -_-;

Also I don't think putting beautiful ordinance will increase the chance in terms of luck. But by putting this ordinance on, it'll likely spawn clovers than weeds so.

I've read that clovers have a 1 in 44 chance of spawning in town, and even slimer if you want the real clovers.

I TT'd for a years in my other town, back when I was gettin the weeding day and zodiac animals, and maybe got like 5 actual factual? Thou that seems kinds high...

I don't think any amount of luck will help either. It's just one of those things out of our control. Can't play God with clovers, how sad haha.

I don’t know if this’ll help because it isn’t going to spawn four leaf clovers but... back when I was still playing two towns, I’d visit my dream addresses and pick all of the clovers so I knew which were four leaves or not... Does that make sense? In the dream town nothing saves permanently so I’d still have all of the regular clovers but I’d be able to pick the four leaf ones once I knew which were which.

Yoo, I never thought of that! I just resetted alot cause I don't have Resetti's Surveillance Center. He has already yelled at me for somethin.

That indeed works and is very clever my friend, but you have to have all paths composed of Lucky Clovers if you want to have perfect status in your town since regular clovers are seen as weeds! ;)

Wait really? Moriyo Village has clovers and Isabelle has never said 'Mayor Kasumi you're killing me with these clover weeds!'

Also back when I was weeding my towns, Leif never counted the clovers as weeds, only the sprigs of grass popping out.

That's interesting my friend! :o From what I have read from various sources, they are considered weeds, but who knows, they could have changed that with the Welcome Amiibo update (which really changed many things about the game). :) If they really are not classified as weeds, that practically means that Lucky Clovers are no longer necessary and are just an expensive ground cover essentially! lol

I know this isn't exactly what you were going for but if it's just for decoration your could use this 4 leaf clover I found around St. Patrick's Day last year. I used it as my town flag.

If you want something a little less realistic I could try to create a QR code of a four leaf clover for you. I'm not great at QR codes but I have made a bunch for my towns.
