Best to worst snow people

So here's what we got: winter in ACNL is almost over, so I like to make threads reviewing the winter.

Based on the items and patience of each snowperson, which one is the best? Which one is the worst? What about the other two?

Here's mine:

1. Snowman - contradictory to the popular opinion, the bingo snowman doesn't bother me as much. But when I first seen them in my whole life, I find these guys to be weird. I rarely had times where they complained about not being perfect, bingo can pass through easier with four of these guys in one town at once, and they aren't as hard to build as the others. The reason why I rank them higher up on my list is because of the items given. The Ski Theme is one of my favorite themes. It's even better than the Sci-fi theme (not the HHA theme, the furniture theme). The only frustrations I have is that some bingo games are slower, the items given out are so random that it's hard to complete the theme, and this "triple ding is rarer than actual bingo" thing.

2. Snowtyke - since they aren't as frustrating as the other three (and are the most patient ones), they don't seem to bug me as much. However, they have a limited variety of items given out, so they aren't the best.

3. Snowmam - getting furniture from them is a lot easier than the other three, but they aren't as good as two other snowpeople. They make you catch snowflakes. It's easier to make a slightly perfect snowmam than a totally perfect snowmam, but building a totally perfect snowmam results in getting ice items easier since you only need to catch three snowflakes instead of five for one item. In this case, you can get five ice items instead of three with 15 snowflakes.

4. Snowboy - those are the worst. If you're even 99% perfect, you get nothing from these spoiled brats. In fact, getting the items from them are so hard that I had to buy snowman series items from other users on GameFAQs. I try as hard as I can, and they are just annoying and ungrateful. Plus, their items aren't as good as the other three snowpeople's.

I completely agree with you on that list. I can't make a snowboy for crap! Literally, I've tried making one every single day and I can never make a "perfect" one. I hate them so much. >:c

Yeah, the snowboy is one of the frustrations of ACNL, but it's more like frustrating as sea bass than frustrating as animal moving mechanic since this has been going on for four games now. They just need to be happy about life. That's all they're going to get. Who cares if they aren't perfect.

Very true. Well I think the game developers intented it to be a challenge and it`s supposed to be difficult. They want us to play the game longer than one year. It is really frustrating, sometimes you can`t do it right. At least the snowman is easy to build. The bingo game can be a pain though.

I honestly never had a problem building any of the snow people

was 2lazy2bother much though, so I just got the majority of items from sellers/giveaways on this site

For me, snowtyke is the best, since he has the best furniture. After that, snowboy, snowpapa, then snowmama. I'm just not a fan of the ice series. It's a little annoying having to reset for the snowboy, but it's worth it for the snowman series.

I hate all of them? I never had any issues with the Snowboy in earlier games (and I love the Snowman series) but I had so much trouble building them in this game! My ranking from best to worst:

1. Snowmam. She was pretty easy to build and collecting snowflakes was fun.
2. Snowtyke. He just seemed... useless.
3. Snowman. I hated how long it took to get a bingo. I hated that the card had to stay in your pockets FOREVER.
4. Snowboy. Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!

They're all relatively okay for me, but I wasn't a huge fan of Snowmam if only for the ice furniture? It just doesn't look...nice, imo. Snowtyke was a sad experience (talking to him and watching him melt q_q), but probably my favorite one.

Snowboys made me want to pull my hair out! I hate them so much!

I built mostly Snowmam because I had no patience for Snowman and Snowtyke was pretty meh. Snowboys are by far the worst though.

1. snowtyke - I aboslutely love his items! They are the cutest and most unique ones imho

2. snowboy - I love the snowman series, and don't really find them hard to built? it seems I'm minority though haha

3. snowman - I like the ski series, but since I usually play by myself, it takes a while to have the entire set. This winter I only built snowman and I'm still missing three items!

4. snowmam - she's adorable and I have fun collecting the snowflakes but I collected the entire series in one day so I never built her again. Maybe next winter because I restarted and need the Ice series again!

I think the Snowtyke is just adorable. The things he says are cute, and he's so small compared to the others! The Snowmam means I have snowflakes flying around town, and she's easy to build and has a nice enough way of talking to you. The Snowman is 3rd just because he had to go somewhere. I'm not too bothered about him. The bingo cards are a bit annoying, but I'm not really all that fussed about getting his furniture, although it is nice. The Snowboy is just the devil. End of story But I'm not bothered about his set really, it's my least favourite of the 4. I mostly want the Snowmam's and the Snowtyke's, and I have all the Snowmam's and I'm working my way towards having all of the Snowtyke's

In terms of building them I'd say: Snowmen (Really easy to get perfect, plus bingo is fun!), Snowman (Not easy to get perfect, but can still get items if not 100% perfect), Snowtyke (Pretty easy to get perfect!) Then last but not least, those damn snowboys. I hate them. I can never get them right.

However in terms of items I'd say: Snowboy, Snowtyke, Snowmam then Snowman. I love the snowman set so much, it's so cute! Then I love the snowbunny, sleigh and matryoska (There just aren't enough items for him to be top). The others I'm not too fussed about, but it's easier to get the complete ice set, therefore that goes before the ski set, which is pretty useless and boring imo.

I think the snowman is the easiest to build, just 2 of the largest snowballs. I just kept building them in my town until I got all of the set. Second, I don't mind making the snowmam too much, the other 2 drive me nuts. After I got all the pieces I wanted I just made the snowmam and got her furniture to save so I can sell it when furniture is at a premium.

Snowboy - I like the items a lot but I reset when he says ooh so close to perfection it frustrated me ughhh......
Snowtyke - Soo cutee! I like the items a lot too

LOL!!! I should totally try that! I too find the snowboys annoying and they keep complaining how their heads could be better matched to their body and I'm just like are you kidding me??

Snowboy is the most frustrating. Oh well. Go figure teenagers.
Snowtyke is easy to get right... however...
Snowmam surprised me with her size range. I didn't know that you could build her in so many different sizes. One time I thought I was building a snowtyke and it ended up being a very small snowmam.
Snowman is usually the easiest. I say usually because the last time I tried to build one I got some unexpected help from a
dung beetle. I ended up with a snowmam with a tiny body and a GIGANTIC head.

I found the snowboy easier to make when the town wasn't developed. Once I made one it clicked and most of the time it was perfect. I just save/continue before putting his head on top. Wrong reset.
Snowtyke is my 2nd favorite one. The sleigh is my favorite piece and it's in my snowboy room.
Snowmama is my 3rd favorite one. Added the rest of the snowtyke stuff to that room.
Snowman is my least favorite. It's easy to make but annoying trying to get numbers. To make it go faster I set my spare town to winter and made extra bingo guys.
To make the room look better I added a redone cabin sofa, chair and table. Added some redone cushion.
Put some redone cabin bookcases along the wall and put all the different New Years Hat and New Years toys on display.

This year in my main town I made a few snow people but it was repeat after repeat so I quit. I spent the winter throwing the snowballs into the river.

Haha! Yeah... I was trying to make a perfect snowboy to get an item and they weren't good enough. It took me a few days to get a perfect one.
