Best Time for Sharks

I was wondering, is there a specific time that a lot of sharks come out?

If you have the island unlocked they are more popular to catch. Not sure if the time matters, I've seen them during the day and night.

Im pretty sure sharks are found more often on nights around 7pm, thats where I normally find them and on the island later on in midday, I found 3 at around 8pm on the same side of the island right next to eachother, they're everywhere there

I don't know if there's a best time, but I seem to get quite a few every time i'm on the island

They start appearing from 5pm and stay like that to 6am
And my best time are after 9pm in the island

I've found that I get more sharks from 5-8pm. Especially on the island. But I've been getting some in my village now that it's July.

Thank you! I tried all your methods. I do have the island, but I found them more when it was raining and around the 7-9pm time slot. Thank you for all the replies!

7pm till midnight and 4am till 6am is the best for me

Didn't realize there were specific times for it besides sunset on. I go to the Island after the shops or retail close so that's pretty late and I still get plenty in between my bug catching.

the evenings when the sun starts to set, or from 10-11 am. i usually find them any time.
