What's your favorite thing about the Bug-Off? Catching bugs, the prizes, Nat, the dialogue villagers give you?

My favorite thing is watching the villagers trying to catch the bugs. It's so cute to see them squatting and inching slowly towards the bug. It's so adorable! c:

Favorite part is watching the villager catch bugs. The first time I noticed it was in my 3rd town. Angus was stalking a bug and Daisy started stalking the same one. Another was Blanche stalking one on a tree. The net moved and a purple cloud was above her head. Wish the game would let the villagers catch the bugs.

Last night was Bug-Off in my first town and it was ladies bug-off. Watched the villager and they did nothing until the last 10 minutes. Tutu finally stalked a butterfly and than Miss Lolly went for a bug. Both missed.

Pippy tried to catch a butterfly, but when she met a line of bushes, she stayed in place but kept acting like she was closing in on the butterfly, heh.

When the villagers catch the bugs but they never succeed, and when they get shocked when you catch the bug they were after! When I talked to a villager while they were hunting a certain bug they get mad and I was so embarrassed, I just wanted to talk to them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the opposite happened, where Fuchsia caught a bug I was after, as she seems to excel at every competition my village has. I mean, how do you even catch a crucian carp as big as you did, Fuchsia? All day, I got nothing like that!

I haven't noticed the villagers catching bugs, I'll keep an eye out for it! (I'm several hours behind in my game because I've been TTing back to reset the high score so I could get as many items as I could out of Nat.)

The best part for me so far has been Nat. He's just too funny and I really like his dialogue. Watching the villagers say different things from their usual speech was fun too, as was seeing who had gotten the highest scores among them and what they'd caught.
