I'm redoing some parts of my island and I was wondering if I can get the best paths you've seen?

Not gonna lie, I love THE path. I used it in Dobie's yard and in my forest. I hate to go along with trends... but it's just so perfect
Also, here are a bunch of paths!
I used the one tile wood path, with curving pieces, on places on my island I didn't want holes to spawn. Very convenient!

I don't want to give into the trend but that path style looks so good I can't resist.

i can't lie, THE path is amazingly designed. as much as how overrated or overused it is now, we gotta give credit where it's due. i was able to free some QR slots to try it, only to use it for my campsite area (i can't commit to using it on my whole island). and i must say it is not just pretty to look at, the creator was also smart to make the edges work where it would still look fluid no matter where you decide it leads to and still look natural. when i download other paths, most of it looks good in pics but due to the switch quality being so good, it does tend to look fake. unlike how those kinda paths, for example the fake water ones, blend in with 3ds potato graphics.
I'm currently halfway through replacing all of my stone paths with the slightly darker, warmer version of 'the path' from here, and it's making my island look ten times better - it's so flexible, especially with the single-width pieces you can add to this version.
For an island like mine which is supposed to be a wilderness, it's a complete game-changer.
I'm actually really enjoying placing it down, which I never thought I'd say! Finding new ways to make diagonal paths, meandering 'S' curves, or splits around trees etc... it's sooooooooo good!

Honestly I don't want to do what everyone is doing which I why I try to create my own stuff but the design of the path is amazingly done so I'mma use it near my campsite.

do it if you have quite a few QR space still! i didn't wanna get it at first due to it being overused and i don't wanna be like just having it to hop on the trend. but honestly, when i put on my campsite grounds, it almost feels as if the path is part of the game. i thought it was gonna look fake-ish but it wasn't. it kinda isn't that different from the in-game dirt path in a sense. so i just think of it as those dirt path but with borders.
there are different variations of it too, if you end up not liking it or want a different variation of it. someone posted above.

I'm into being a trend setter not a follower but, I found a pastel version of THE path and omg it looks so cute and matches my aesthetic! Good thing I hardly ever use custom designs I had space for it! I just gotta figure out how to execute it!

This is a really nice brick design that I used before. It just takes a lot of spaces but is very seamless as a result.
Same! Now, I don't use it all over my island- I still primarily use the game's paths because I like how they sound. BUT I use that path for areas where I'd just use dirt paths. That way I don't miss out on those cute sounds ☺
I fantasize about Nintendo giving us a way to make "custom" paths, like how we can make custom clothes. Imagine if you could make, say, stone paths that actually had the stone sound effect! And, of course, they'd have to give us a completely separate storage space for them, like we have for clothes
I'm gonna have to say THE path aswell, it just goes well with every season and just looks so pretty!
I've seen a couple other path designs that are similar to THE paths design (like the shape and stuff) which are also really cute. I also really enjoy flower-y boarders on the default oath designs they give you, especially the brick and wood paths!

While I love THE path, I have to say I've seen path borders for the regular paths included with terraforming look awesome. I think path borders give any path a really finished look and I so wish I had enough design slots for one! Oh well!
ugh i’m already bored of everyone using this same path on their islands. it’s pretty but i like it better when islands are unique and have their own look. i use a rainbow brick path i made and i love it because it actually represents me and my aesthetic

I design my island to appeal to me...and 'the path' does just that.
I don't have that many visitors anyway, but even if I did, I'd rather have an island I love than one I compromised on in order to seem 'unique' to other people.

The Path is pretty cool, but honestly its a little amusing to me that its so popular, simply because I feel like its "going backwards" in animal crossing's progress.
Personally I really like this circular stone path! its pretty popular too, but I just think its really well made and goes well with a lot of themes!
