Best location for my house?(Map included)

So I restarted my town... Should I place my house where my villager is located in the top picture(to the left of the river) or where my villager is located on the bottom picture(to the right of the river)?

To the left of the river seems more isolated and "special" which I like, but I might also want to put a lighthouse there, because it seems like the best place for one.

What are your opinions?

I agree with this.

And in the future, you may want to put a PWP or plants such as bushes or trees near your house, and just in case, you should go with whichever one will have the most room.

I'd place a lighthouse where your character is, and your house on the right of the river, facing the path to the beach. I love your map

I suggest the first one, because it has an even smaller penninsula in which you can build a bench surrounded by flowers and make yourself a bit of a frontyard near the waterfall. The lighthouse can be placed at the coast below the town plaza.

That is a great place for a lighthouse but, I like having my house secluded so I would most likely put my house at the fist spot and a light house at the second or somewhere along the cliff to the right of the second one.

I suggest you put the lighthouse in that space!

Your house can go anywhere but I think you should put it in a space that you can have easy access to everything (re-tail, ramp, train station, bridge, etc.) because you dont want to have to run a long ways to get to those things.
