Bells are like Japanese yen!

Everyone should note that in Animal Crossing, you're not buying CDs.

You're buying records. =p

Though there isn't any real life comparison to bells. If there was, it would make a lot of the things in the game pretty expensive.

Exactly.

Bells are only like yen as a currency, not value.
It's a stupid argument!

I wouldn't say it's stupid, I've seen more pointless arguments before.

It's similar to yen, but Prof is right. Have you seen GracieGrace prices x3

I don't know about yen being equivalent to bells. They are similar to bells though. When the animal crossing games were first made, the conversion rate was much less than ten us dollars also, so the ten is wrong.

Also, I have never bought a cd for 32 dollars. That is almost double the average cd price where I live.

Of course it's "like" yen; it's a currency :L
No different than saying Ruppees are like Pounds.
But by saying that, it makes this thread redundant.

There's no exchange rate.
It's not an accurate representation of real-life value.
It's similar only by the fact it's a currency.

I dont see where that debate is....

Then just don't post on the thread? And if you think its that worthless, you could just report the thread. No harm in doing so :)

What, I shouldn't post because I disagree with the OP?
It was approached as a debate/discussion at the start which is why I posted my opinion. The same as everyone else has posted theirs :L
And of course it's a valid discussion and definitely not worthy of being reported.

I wasn't going to post anymore, that's why I summarised my opinion and left.

Oh, sorry if I upset you. I just thought it was strange posting on a "stupid argument" but I do see where you are going at. Everyone has their own opinion and I understand if you have a different one :)
