I literally just did the same thing. Hadn't played and now all of a sudden he is in boxes today. Hope you can find one of the villagers you're looking for! I'll keep my eyes peeled.

i don't mind holding beau while you try to force cube into boxes but if someone else offers a trade earlier than you can i'll probably take it instead =( so it's up to you. i don't want to make you waste your time if you spend a while time traveling and i get another offer.

You could always post on the Official hold my villager thread and get someone to hold him
it's not really worth the trouble for me, since i don't like to time travel it'd take forever for me to cycle out enough villagers. once i do cycle out enough i'll probably just use the campsite trick to get him again.
