A lot of people (at least on what I see), really don't like Sylvia...even though she's no different from any other Uchi villager.
She's like the villager that gets put up for adoption a lot on Tumblr blogs and such.
Personally, I think she's alright...but Rooney and Kitt are so much better.

Cherry was my first uchi. I loved her rock and roll attitude and her design is very punk. The "what what" catchphrase always made me laugh though, as I always heard it in an British accent. First time she tried to move, I actually said no because I didn't know who to replace her with.
After I settled on my dreamies, I chose Agnes. I've had her for two weeks or so now and absolutely adore her design. The second day after she unpacked, the little pig had changed into one of my own designs--and it looks amazing on her. Her catchphrase, "snuffle", is just too cute. I prefer her design to Cherry's as it's much simpler. The interior of her house is a mix of lovely and sleek--I'm not big into pink--but it fits her tough-but-sisterly personality.

Mira is my favorite. I remember visiting a dream town and coming across her and I immediately wanted to replace her with Diva because I mean Diva is such an ugly uchi, no offense to anyone. Phoebe and Fuchsia are also really cute even though I've never had them before, but I really liked Fuchsia's catchphrase, girlfriend.
I honestly don't like the Uchi villagers that much in general; by design especially. It seems like they tried to make all the Uchis as strange or ugly as possible (sorry for those who like them). Certain strange designs work, but none of them really work for me with the Uchis, they just look out of place. I don't mind Deirdre or Pashmina, and there are several others that have reasonable designs. Overall my experience with them has been really poor; however, it's just the opposite for Smugs, I find them to be my new favorite for male villagers (Normal is still probably my favorite overall, good designs, very likable.)
My favorite uchis are totally Cherry and Phoebe. I love that Phoebe is inspired on the phoenix and Cherry just looks really unique and I find her pretty. I like how uchi have this female-gang-leader vibe, which is something none of the other personality types have and I find them very "real" in a sense lol.
Most of them are not very graced in the look department though so it was kinda hard for me to pick one too.

Definitely looking more into Agnes and Katt now. The problem I'm having is that a lot of Uchi seem to have a rocker/punk/modern vibe and my town is very rustic. Deidre still seems like the only really rustic Uchi. Hm...

Mira is my favorite Uchi! She's the cutest to me but Pashmina was always 2nd place. I don't like most of the Uchis but I love my Mira. Although I just lost her, I'm very upset hahaha.
