Seriously, I just googled it to check up on the 8/7/2015 date and this thread was the only thing that popped up. I enjoy a good rumor and buzz as much as anyone but let's not just make stuff up for the sake of doing so.

Seriously, I just googled it to check up on the 8/7/2015 date and this thread was the only thing that popped up. I enjoy a good rumor and buzz as much as anyone but let's not just make stuff up for the sake of doing so.

-Bigger personal customazation to the face and not so much based on random choices. maybe similar to tomodatchi life ( ability to create personality to make it more you) but not the voice aspect, Its really creepy to me.
-villagers wont have a goldfish like memory; only 15 seconds. Instead of the possibly forgetting about another villager having an argument with them, keep the tension going. Have grudges against one another, having best friends (maybe even relationships?). More villager on villager interactions overall
-Hold own holidays or design the existing ones yourself. Of course there is a default option for each one but maybe if players want to customize their town more, for the exchange of bells on Halloween have a pumpkin carving contest and then maybe Jack (as a joke) would be hosting the event or bring back old hollidays such as Yay Day and the Flea Market.
Based on my "calculations", in japan the new game may be released in 2015, 2016 or 2017. NA will get it in 2016, 2017 or 2018... reason for such various dates is because they have released the previous games in 1-3 years apart. NA as well as everywhere else takes a year longer to get the new game due to translating and extra coding. I'm assuming that by then they would have created another (handheld) console so they would place the new game on that but if it was released for the Wii U i have a feeling its going to be similar to the city folk; a few new things added but basically new leaf onto a different console.

I have not heard of any rumors, and yes, I would like links as well. I've heard of plans getting underway and amiibl stuff, but no solid numbers or a timetable. Sounds and seems fake to me, and I'm also a bit suspect of the advert at the end there...I don't wanna make any accusations here but something's not right, and that's obv.
