Barbie vs. Oppenheimer

Probably one of the biggest questions today is which did/will you see first, Barbie or Oppenheimer? I saw the Barbie movie first, and I loved it! I haven't watched Oppenheimer, though.

Not interested in either, to be honest. But then again, I'm not particularly interested that anything in modern cinema has put out other than maybe All Quiet On The Western Front.

Barbie. I would rather watch a funny movie than something heavy. Plus Oppenheimer is rated R, and I don’t like watching those kinds of movies.

I watched Oppenheimer first and then Barbie right after! I was definitely more excited for Barbie but it felt right to do it in that order

I'm not going to see either, but if I had to choose it'd be Oppenheimer. Barbie just isn't my cup of tea.

lmao ya’ll already know what i’m gonna say, but barbie 100%! i went to watch it on opening night, and went back to watch it again on saturday! i’ve never liked a movie so much before that i’ve gone to see it in theatres more than once, not even any of my other favourite movies. i got all dolled up both times— did my makeup, wore a pink outfit, and made a whole day of it! i’m not sure if i’ll be going back a third time, but i can assure you that i’m gonna watch it a million more times once it’s available outside of theatres

beyond finding it ironic that two movies with such completely different vibes released on the same day, i’ve never really had any interest in barbenheimer or oppenheimer itself. i might watch it once it’s released outside of theatres since i know my parents want to watch it then as well, but i’m not really interested in a movie about a guy who created a bomb that killed more than 140,000 people, and caused radiation that gave countless others cancer and other terrible side effects.

I really wanna see both. I know Oppenheimer has scenes I absolutely don’t want to see with my mom though so I’m gonna miss my chance to see it in IMAX
I would watch Oppenheimer first. It’s just right to cool off, plus Barbie is way shorter. God. When I do this with my bf I’m going to make it the best setup possible. Ngl though he’s not really into drama so I dunno how he would feel about Opp but I’m sure he would try.

I wanna see Barbie, Ive heard such good things about it and Ive tried my best to avoid spoilers. If I still worked in the theatre I would have seen it by now. But from what I know, theres some cool stuff the movie has, and from all tje positive feed back and the amazing cast I bet it will be fun. Were planning on seeing it next Saturday

Ah Openheimer. Where do I begin. Ive got some pretty strong opinions about it, im not a fan. One pisitive id say is defently that the sound track is stunning, and movies with a great sound track are worth it. But when it comes to bombs, and war. Not for me. Ill leave it at that

I have really strong feelings towards it.

I have no interest in the Barbie movie, so I would see Oppenheimer before I'd see Barbie.
I wouldn't go to the theater for either though.

JK I haven't seen oppenheimer yet but I did love Barbie.
Ive studied Robert Oppenheimer before and I'm hesitant to see the movie because I'm afraid of it being senseless propaganda or putting him in a different light. Also I heard there's a 10 minute long "adult" scene so. like. nah.
